Hello! Today 23/5 my brother went to this Woolworths with his friends and one of the workers were so nice : My brother's friend was trying to pay for something but couldn't afford it, and went to put it back then the kind worker said he could just pay for it - he didn't have to and I'm sure a lot of workers wouldn't have but that was so kind! My brother thinks he had an orange moustache, a hat, and was quite young but he's not too sure! Thank you
Price point against competition was better or matching.nAlso with Coles and 3 local bakers closed there were some gaps in types of bread, milk, and fruit and vegetables. Staff were, even under pressure , helpful,quick and pleasant.nJust visit for food top up. Sadly eggs low or out. Specials this week are attractive. Parking was good if choose correct level.nSaturday midday shop. Not overly crowded but specials were out. Some clearance item being marked down but time is a issue. Lovely checkout assistant, good packing and alert to our needs.nLocal Woolies all shelves packed and end of weeks specials still on shelves. Well done.nWoolies have staff turnover. Sometimes at serviced checkout there is some missed items - everyday rewards not registered or asked for, nor offer collectables. However staff are polite and caring although rushed.nCompared to local C. Not às many empty shelves and very few of lookalike items in sale labelled shelf.nVery happy with Woolies today as they have new trollies - lightweight, green, easy to wipe over at the Covid checking station and easy to drive. Good move. Thanks.nnWoolies are still a pleasure as shopping is? to wander the stocked rows. It will be interesting the expansion planned for next year. In the main, and even with the pressure of performance, the staff are pleasant and helpful. The self serve spy cameras are over tuned picking up non Woolies stock as shelf stock being not paid for. Another reason to use the Serviced checkout stations.nAgain staff are a benifit for clients and shop.nThere is a little disappointment with fresh grocery stock levels. The store is being rebuilt soon and this site needs to remain as a Woolies due to the mix of clients, young parents and retired .nI had a short holiday at a nearby coastal area. Sadly the much larger Woolies disappointed at the beach town . Yes sale products were there but the majority of staff are under pressure and not communicating.nWhereas the local store at Sherwood the senior staff work hard and are approachable.nnAgain staff are caring and helpful. Parking often is busy.nWednesday is the sales change over day
Always a great store for grabbing the essentials and checking out what chocolates are on special
Smaller than some Woollies, and has pay trolleys to unlock.nNot as many fresh choices as most Woollies.
Good to see new staff and new management with James who's doing a great job in running the Sherwood Woolworths. Lot's of new staff in there now all friendly, helpful , workers.nGreat to see Haley at front desk / counter doing a good job and has been give more responsibility, doing a great job for James .nAlways nice to go into a shop when it's calm and everything's running smooth and everybody's doing their job it makes for a better experience for customers to come in to a store that's functioning like this.
