Compact, needs an update. Has what you need. Does not look great because the lighting appears dark in there. It seems somehow not as inviting, maybe because of its size or the general smallness. Also the roller door always down at the self checkout makes it feel claustrophobic and dark. Maybe get something done about that. It’s horrible
15/07/2024 Ackers Street Woolworths Townsville I stopped at the deli at 3.05pm waited 10 minutes because the older woman was moving boxes. When she did serve me she was short and irritated, to the point I asked her if I had done something to her, she replied no I am doing as you asked and counting out your 10 slices of salami.nNo smile no thank you just slammed it on the counter. You want anything else she said I replied definitely not.
Went through self serve today watched a man ask the “assistant” Kym to help him with scanning multiples. She refused and told him to scan each one individually; he had 12 of the item so not an insignificant amount. If you aren’t going to open enough registers, then the assistants at self serve should assist. Or perhaps add the multiple function for shoppers to use themselves? Do better.
I have shopped there since I moved here 14 years ago. I like it. I think they should be better at stocking products tho.
Whats happening with the fuel station site? What an unnecessary mess. Could be turned into parking?nnThe exits are very dangerous all sides!nnParking lot very outdated.nNeed to repair or remove the unnecessary kerb everywhere.nNeeds shade cloth through the whole parking lot. Look at the Avenues! Good example. They've done it up beautifully
