Lovely, quaint historical piece of Brisbane set at the rear of Wacol Correctional Centre. Had purchased high tea for four people, and the guy at the front entrance and another guy busy setting up for a concert were friendly and great to chat to. Grace, our waitress was flustered and slightly argumentative. Maybe she was having a bad day. Nonetheless the food was nice, and the four of us had a great afternoon.

A truely magnificent gem in the national trusts crown. It easy to get too (just don’t be put off driving past some of Queensland’s finest prisons). When you arrive you find a very well run and historic farm house with a superb cafe. You’ll be amazed how this small property was home to such large families. It’s fascinating to discover the hardships they had to endure and also the beauty of the surroundings.

Excellent place to visit during the day and 1 night a month a brilliant Paranormal Investigation is held there by Katie Harvey Paranormal.

Really enjoyed it, had a lovely hightea and then a tour where we learnt all about the history of the house as well as the surrounding area. Well worth the visit

Amazing staff, super friendly and ready for a good quality chat, the photos do not do this place justice, steeped in history with very knowledgeable staff to guide you. Coffee was amazing and the food was also gorgeous, we did the high tea and it was an all around amazing experience.
