Situated on top of the hill within Toowong Memorial Park is this 12 meter high monument erected in honour of Toowong Soldiers of World War 1. The memorial's base hosts a roll call of local involvement, naming all who enlisted on three marble slabs. There is a beautiful winding cement path leading up to the top of the hill. Designed so that wheelchairs and people of all ages can reach the site. The cenotaph memorial was unveiled by Governor Sir Matthew Nathan on 2 July 1922.
