Although it’s a state library, it’s fully open to everyone, including international visitors, with no restrictions. The facilities are exceptionally clean and modern, and the layout is designed in a way that lets you enjoy the surrounding views while you read or relax. It’s a quiet, beautiful space worth stopping by even if you’re just passing through.

It is one of the most beautiful city libraries I have seen. I haven't decided yet whether studying environments with river views are beneficial or an obstacle to studying :nnIt is a 5-storey building. There are two large Auditoriums. It's a great environment with computers available for free use. In The Edge section, there are facilities such as free 3D printers, a music recording room and an innovation laboratory. The best part was being able to use this library for free without registering.
Huge, accessible. This place have everything you want. The staff is incredibly kind. Everybody smiles to you, helps you with pleasure. It feels really great. The fact that you have free accessible Internet, computers and charging cables is also really pleasant.nThe view on the river is beautiful.nAnd, you can easily print.nThank you
Beautiful library. Clean, plenty to see and do, gorgeous spaces to enjoy like an outdoor area. Talks about many topics like art and heritage homes. There's a coffee shop nearby and a bookshop with amazing selections of unique books you can buy. The library has 4 levels, there is an amazing heritage and history collection. The seats on level 1 for the general library are so comfortable, I enjoy just sitting there watching the Brisbane river through the huge glass windows. It is also close to the Museums and the many enjoyable things at South Bank.
