Moved to Teneriffe a few years back and the first facility I looked for was a library. New Farm library did not disappoint. The staff are helpful and interested in your reading material. Combine that with the computer sourcing technology and in my opinion the service is excellent. We often seek out newly published works and they are promptly sourced for us. The only limiting aspect has been the small building which is now being rectified by BCC. A great place and resource staffed by people who care.

Staff very friendly and helpful. A great selection of Italian material for the dreamer in me.

Even with the extra stress of the renovations the staff still go out of their way for customers

This library has the most insane hours. Seriously BCC while all your employees are in Brisbane CBD getting coffee for themselves this library is closed until 12noon on a Thursday!! The rest of the world can manage long retail hours but your library staff can't. When will this nonsense stop. People have lives to live, study to complete and businesses to run. Come into 2016 asap. It's rather tragic that no one in this monolithic organisation can't make a necessary change.
