Booked in Toyota hiace high top campervan for a RWC. The height of the van which is 2.8 metres high was mentioned pre booking. However when we arrived for the appointment the shop was closed, we then called and were asked if our appointment was cancelled??? The mechanic eventually turned up to only say that we are too high. Lazy and incompetent!

Cannot rate William Street Automotive any higher! Nathan and his team are reliable, straightforward and honest. I have had used their services many time over the last 5 years and every time I have had a great experience. Nothing is too big or small a job with good advice thrown in without the expectation of having to spend unnecessarily.

Very good service, Nathan knows what's exactly needs to be done. No doubt of getting over charged unlike most mechanics. Clearly explains what the car needs and to be worked on to maintain your drive!!  I'll be giving my car for any work further from now on without any doubt.

I've never found an honest mechanic until now. I'd been taking my car into get serviced from BMW for years, not knowing how much they torch you. Nathan is the most honest & professional mechanic i've dealt with and have been taking my car to him the last 3 years as a result. 10/10

Don’t trust. He insisted I needed a new alternator even though I told him the mechanic and RACV said that’s not the problem. Perhaps he was too lazy to run checks or just took advantage thinking I was a girl who knew nothing about cars. His manner was condescending bordering on rude so I trusted my instinct and took my business elsewhere. I’ve had a second opinion from another auto electrician who confirmed there is nothing wrong with the alternator and has fixed the problem for a fraction of the price. Go elsewhere if you can.

Honest and thorough guys. I bought a used car at a dealers, which showed some faults right after buying it. The dealer refused to do anything about it. So I brought it to Williams St Automotive to get a quote for the warranty. He did a lot of checks on the cruise control and the ACE. He even ordered some used parts, to figure out what's wrong. After 2 days the dealer called to my suprise and offered to fix everything. When fetching the car from the William St Guys I offered to pay the $110 dollars for the quote, but they refused and instead provided me with valuable tips what else needs to be fixed. You just won a loyal customer!

Highly recommend Nathan, had my fiesta in two garages who couldn't find the fault before I took it to his garage. Explained the faults/fixes and prices up front and I ended up spending a lot less than I anticipated!
