Visited at 6:30am nice coffee and fire to keep you warm plus free news paper to read. Watching the sunrise what else can a man want?
Awesome service, very friendly waiters, delicious food with exceptional coffee. Not too pricey. We were a group of 8, easily seated. Waiters have nice aprons on : ask where they get them they will tell you.
Coffee was horrible and waitress wasn't sure what she was actually bringing us, the espresso was cold. Forgot one out of two of our meals then rushed the second one. Eggs came out pretty much raw due to rushing the forgotten order and we were just given the old "I'll let the chef know".
Great smashed avo+poached egg brunch, along with good iced coffee and service. Bonus was food came out extra quick during the crazy summer holiday period big thumbs up. Nice amount of space too inside and cool temp, compared to some of the other cafes nearby that I walked past. Only possible negative was seemed on the pricier side although not being a local that may be the norm along this strip overlooking the water, plus the place does have a nice up market feel. Recommended.
Restaurant open in winter, despite being off-season. Lovely friendly staff and good choice of food on the menu. Nice ambience in the restaurant including 80's music on the stereo. Food was cooked well and tasted great. Good wine selection too.
We headed here for our four year anniversary, and it was a lovely place. It is a good fine dining type experience on the beach line in torquay. Of course with fine dining experiences, the meals are expensive ~30 - 50 for mains. I had booked on two days before going, and when heading in they couldn't find my booking. Perhaps just confirm bookings the day before?
Service was fine but food took quite a while to come out. The burger was pretty dry/ unimpressive, but the misc chips, the calamari and the persian salad thing my friends ordered were pretty tops. Maybe I was just unlucky...
Food was beautiful and staff were brilliant will be back
