Our aim is to keep fisho’s Torquay thinking of the local community sourcing fresh local produce. Enjoy this concept where our food is simple, fresh and tastes much better!

If you’re trying to decide where to eat! And keen on some solid seafood, You MUST try this place. Luke and the team were very welcoming, told us well in advance the food might take time considering it was a busy Saturday, this was expected — but boy, was the wait worth it. The scallops were amazing, the char grilled octopus and fennel, mind blowing and the fish and chips were spectacular. Washed it all down with some craft coconut water, perfect after a good day at the beach. Highly recommend, good food, great hospitality, underrated for sure!
The staff was very accommodating to our big group with kids! Very warm and welcoming. The fish was very fresh, oh and that tartare sauce Personally I prefer my chips crunchier but the taste was very good. The salad was a highlight too. Really good taste with a little bit of spiciness they also have a non spicy salad. We got the Platter and it was good amount of food for 4 people Would recommend if you're down in Torquay
Lovely fish and chips place. Ordered fresh oysters, grilled dory with salad, gummy shark tacos and grilled squid. They were all very fresh and delicious And their hand cut chips too!
Absolutely one the best and freshest fish and chips! The fish of the day was gummy shark. Haven't ate it before. Delicious! Haiwanan poke bowl was very refreshing with Yuzu seasoning. Tacos were great too. And so was the grilled squid! Staff are super friendly and accommodating as well!Food: 5/5
Best fish and chips in Melbourne. Usually drive all the way from the city just to go there. The fish is always fresh and the batter is not oily. The tacos are amazing too. Try one of each grilled, fried and Ceviche Staff are super friendly too
Recommended! We were passing by on our way to Apollo Bay. We had a warm welcome at Fichos Torquay and had the menu explained in detail with the fish sustainably caught. Being a tourist, that was great so went with the grilled gummy shark and salad, the fish and chips gummy shark and the grilled calamari. Delicious! Definitely be back!
The food was amazing and the customer service was brilliant! The waiter even took the time to explain how they sourced the gummy sharks and other interesting info. I would highly recommended this spot if you’re in the area. The fish was fresh and the chips were perfectly salted. Ambience was nice too, we sat outside on the beautiful wooden tables
When you just want a simple but perfectly cooked fish and chips in Torquay, Fishos is the place to go. We had both grilled fish and fried fish and both were done perfectly. Seafood was fresh and service was attentive eventhough the place was quite busy.
Probably the best fish and chips that I have had my whole life. Very light battered fresh gummy shark and squid with the best tasting handcut chips. Very friendly staff and the owner was happy to have a chat. If people are coming to Torquay to try the best fish and chips, this is it. Looking forward to trying the rest of the menu. Great quality and quantity, well priced menu. 10/10
We ordered the Cosy Corner platter which was huge and easily could be shared between more people due to the large amount of chips and salad. They don't take bookings so we arrived around 6.15pm on a weekday and the dining areas were both full but a free outdoor table came up fairly quickly. Despite the heat, the area was very shady and cool. Fish was fresh and sides were great. We also tried the sweet potato cakes which were good as well. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would not hesitate to return!
