At The Stoop we are passionate about great food, great service and our guests having an excellent time.

Taking its name from the Stoops of Holland and North America its true meaning is ‘a small porch’ yet the modern understanding of stoops is a place to congregate, socialize, relax & converse.

Locally owned and operated, located in a 50’s beach house in Old Torquay with a relaxed and open atmosphere, you can sit back and enjoy food and drinks inside by the heater or grab a seat in the sun on our beautiful terrace or beer garden.

With a menu inspired by our Head Chefs time spent in France and the Mediterranean, we offer you stylish yet simple food to delight your senses. Classics such as burgers, fish & chips and parmas grace the menu together with daily specials which are created using the finest local and seasonal produce.

Our wine list focuses on some of the best wines from the Surf Coast & Victorian wine regions mixed with some fun and eclectic South Australian and international wines.

With rotating beers on tap and an extensive craft bottled beer & cider selection there is sure to be something for you to enjoy.

We’re currently open for breakfast & lunch 7 days a week from and dinner Friday and Saturday nights until late.
