Ordered the seafood platter. Was serviced prawns instead of the Moreton Bay bug without even being informed. When asked where the bugs where, they simply said there is a shortage of bugs so they swapped them for prawns instead. When I raised that I have seen dishes coming out of the kitchen with the bugs, they said it is available for the seafood linguine. So I asked why is it available for the linguine but not for my platter. Finally the served us two halves of two clearly different bugs. There was no apology, just arrogance from the staff. Food was below average, the prawns, bugs and salmon were overcooked. Terrible service especially on a day there is a 15% surcharge.
Had a fantastic breakfast. I ordered the Vegetarian Bombie Breaky, and it was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly portioned loved the vibrant veggies and seasoning. My chai latte was creamy and spiced just right, a real treat. My partner got the Veg Wrap, which was packed with tasty fillings and had a great crispy edge. Their cappuccino was smooth with a rich foam, exactly how they like it. The vibe was cozy, and the staff were super friendly. Definitely coming back for more!
My Port Arlington mussels were cooked perfectly, and the chocolate lava cake was delicious. The young guy who served us was friendly and helpful, as were the other staff.nThe location was perfect for a sunny autumn afternoon lunch looking out over the ocean.
Bomberas TorquaynRandomly stumbled upon this place on Google Maps and it turned out to be a really nice surprise. The vibe is super chill—great spot to start the day. I had the big breakfast and a waffle. Both were good—nothing too fancy, just tasty and satisfying.nHighly recommend if you’re in the area and looking for a relaxed place to eat.nThe staff were very friendly and yes, also cute, which made the whole experience even nicer.
Can’t beat a beach view! The place was absolutely buzzing when I walked in, but despite that I was seated quickly which was great. Staff are attentive and friendly, the coffee is spot on.nMy meal came out quickly and the chilli scramble had some good kick to it which was fantastic.nnDefinitely worth a visit!
