Perfect spot for a family picnic. Good amenities, lots of grass and space to play and cycle. Very safe beach nearby for swimming. Lots of free parking. Lots of shade and fairly well sheltered from the wind. Tremendous kids playground. Had a great time with my grand kids.
The new fitness park is great. The 145 step track and lookout is great. It is 4 people wide and has rest stops so accessible for all abilities. It also has a ramp path at the back for people with disabilities or if you are too cooled to make it back down. Fantastic view at the top. Lots of public fitness equipment at the bottom.
Awesome parklands right on the beach. The exercise stairway and fitness hub has truly transformed this area bring lots of people to this beautiful area
A very well maintained track and exercise equipment but the track could do with some trail markers to indicate the direction for each trail. Accidentally ended up at Hillary's which was nice. Would definately come back. Trail isn't on Google maps.
Awesome place for family bbq's. Has great facilities, including toilets and is now even better with the new fitness area
Great place for a party or play for the kids. All it needs to be a 5 star is if they had a permanent coffee shop and water park section... then I'd live there

Great place for kids. Lots of free play area. Partially fenced, good selection of play equipment, walking trail and a lookout. My kids loved it.
Heaps of shade, lawn, activity space, parking, facilities are great, bbq, great variety of fitness equipment plus the beach access is right there, the beach is protected from the swell, by the adjacent marina, so good for the kids. If you're lucky you'll get to see the eagle dive in for a fish right there on the beach
