What a fabulous place! My grandchildren absolutely loved it. They're 3 and 1 and had a great time playing in the water and exploring the park. Naturescape is a very apt name. I can't wait to take them back when they're older, when they'll be able to access even more of the park's facilities.
A really well put together nature play, and 100% worth a visit if you have kids. Being a nature lover, I’m not personally a fan of the pumped artificial creek, but the kids enjoyed it! Lots to explore here…
Terrific natural area with streams and ponds. Lots of structure for kids to climb. Suitable for children 3 plus years old.
A great playground for kids to have fun and explore.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo wait
Lovely place for kids to play and learn, informative and fun. Challenging climbs and ropes, and nice water area to tread water and also a stone pit to make stone stacks and forms. Bumped into a staff member also who was very friendly and helpful.
I’ll try not to bang on about the fact that an industry like mining should not be funding children’s play areas. It seemed so blatant to me that the goal was to seed the idea from a young age that the mining industry is a a great vocation opportunity and b an industry that actually cares about societal and environmental issues. vomit. I’m acutely aware that that industry has been the sole reason that Perth has seen such great economic prosperity over the last few decades, so I get it. All of this aside, my toddlers 2 & 3 didn’t really ‘get it’. It was over thought out and they kept asking ‘where the playground was’.
It was a wonderful place to explore with a small child. Great to see wildlife in the water where children play.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
Hidden gem! Water play areas, plenty to climb with lovely views of the local flora. Nice just for a walk and made us adults feel like kids exploring the world again.
This is a fantastic nature playground for kids of all ages in the heart of Kings Park. It is free to enter. There are maps and a lot of signs explaining the do's and don'ts of the area. There are many different areas within the nature scape to explore. You can wade in the water, but it is advised not to go deeper than the knees as the water is not treated. We attended during school holidays and they had a fun worksheet you could complete also photos attached.
A great spot for kids. Definitely needs signs to point out the toilets for people unfamiliar with the space.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
