We came in wellington from auckland was looking for good indian food and we finally manage to get one of the best must say food was amazing
Had our go to Chicken Biryani - kiwi hot, takeaway, very very very bland, and very minimal chicken, very disappointing nLet me know when you make this into a chicken biryani, making the chicken a seen ingredient, not one you are trying to find amongst the rice..nUsually the flavour is on target hence, I look past the lack of chicken.nI try and eat local to support, but unfortunately no flavour and minimal chicken will not rush back.
Haven’t been in years and pleasantly surprised. Great service, great food and portion size, authentic and warm inviting atmosphere.
Disappointing tonight. Rice overcooked, naan undercooked, med curry had very low heat. Sorry guys, you’re one of our locals but it wasn’t your best night.
Got take aways. The portions are two smalls portions of spice traders. Flavor is next level. We had the lamb vindaloo kiwi hot that’s a good heat level. Might be too spicy for some but we loved it. And had the chicken saagwala Indian hot would have thought that it would be spicier than the kiwi hot. But still a good meal. Overall vindaloo topped it with the coconut rice. We will be ordering next week again. 5 starts. Photo is of half the port that was supplied after placing in different containers for lunch.
