I’ve never been the type to make this kind of post on any social media platform especially one that involves this many people. But sadly I feel the need to raise awareness towards the shocking customer service I received at Domino’s Whitby on 26/06/2022 at around 9:50PM . I called to question whether my order came through as I was having difficulty with the website and my transaction and my mobile banking app had sent me a notification that TWO transactions had gone through. I also just wanted to confirm that the chicken bites I ordered for my partner was also correct and then I was told I needed proof of my order which I was more than happy to do. I went in with kind intentions and presented the man with the proof of purchase but he still refused to release my food to me claiming that the “business would lose out on money” because my order had come through twice with different variations within both orders but the SAME EXACT UNIQUE PIZZA ORDER. AS IF I WASN’T the one being charged over DOUBLE. It was getting late and after back and forth bickering trying to convince this man that I will happily just take what I originally came for he then aggressively shoves my order on the counter along with the sides and then continued being a rude 4 letter word that starts with C. Not only did he approach this the wrong way with his earphones in, no uniform on and with a smug & disgusting attitude but there seemed to be no sign of remorse OR customer service. I will NEVER come back to this branch, will never recommend them and will also be taking this up further aswell as posting about my incident on the local community page so that no one has to go through the ordeal I had to endure. If there was the option to rate this establishment with zero stars I would. As the time before this my partner and I were left standing in the waiting area having to physically shout out for assistance while THE SAME TWO CO WORKERS from the 26/06/2022 incident came frantically running out from the back of the store. My partner and I had no problem with this as we work in retail and everyone deserves a few minutes to themselves but after last night to hell with Dominos Whitby!
Domino's Whitby recently confirmed that pizza is the worst takeaway. A 30 minute wait for a meat feast that arrived as a vegan special. Another 15 minutes for the actual order. Never again.
The most dried up overcooked cheesy garlic pizza I've ever received from domino's, only ate the cheese crust Very disappointed
Cheap, delicious, and fast service. $7 pizza! Frozen pizzas from countdown are $6 or $7! Friendly helpful staff. I'll be a regular from now on
Bought home delivery, a mixture of quality of pizzas. Daughter ordered Hawaiian, half of the pizza contained no pineapple or ham, almost like we'd ordered half and half. The other pizzas, chicken with camembert contained one piece but was hot. Friendly service and delivered in a lot quicker time than other companies were promising.
Bit hit and miss with the quality. Seem to skimp on base sauce so ask for double base sauce. Fast pizza. Sometimes forgets the swirl. Overall happy with the $5 pizzas. You can't get better value when it comes to fast food. If you ring your order in the you can have a free swirl, however order online and it costs 50c. Good staff here. Never tried the delivery option.
Zero stars!!! Last night ordered my pizza in store and waited 50 minutes!!!! There was no communication there would be a delay, the monitor wasn't showing real time, no apologies from anyone in the store. There were a number of complaints in store, the monitor was turned off as a result of it. The quality of the pizza was low, I ordered a God Father, there were 3 three slices of salami, 3 slices had only cheese on them. Over the last few months the quality of the pizzas have been low and the times were already at 30 minutes. All of these items need to be fixed, at the very least customers need to be advised of extentended waiting times so we can decide weather we are willing to wait or go to another place.
Very disappointed with our service tonight. We selected the car delivery option as we were already in our pj's. We waited over 25 minutes in the parking lot with no sign of our food despite checking in as instructed on their website and turning our hazard lights on to alert them. When we tried to phone the store, it took four times for them to answer and the girl on the phone was not very helpful either. She kept asking what our license plate number was and car colour even though we filled out these details when ordering. Turns out our food was ready the entire time and was sat there going cold... She then asked if we wanted her to bring it to the car or if we'd like to come in, which seemed like it should have been obvious since it's the option we chose online! Normally I'd be fine with walking inside, however without siounding entitled, i expect that if you select a certain service you should receive it. On top of this, our cheesy garlic scrolls had no garlic whatsoever and tasted like plain dough. The pizza itself was decent considering it was stone cold by the time we received it. Overall I was upset with my service and I understand that they were busy, but this should not be an excuse for providing a disappointing experience for customers.
Appalling services with borderline scam-like response. on 25/03/2022 me and my partner ordered the below offer over the counter from a staff member; This would have been about 6:30 give or take - the staff member serving us was new but very friendly - no issues on her end whatsoever. She took down the offer, charged us slightly over charged me but it was only 50 cents, so i left it when we returned to collect our order it was 3 pizzas, and 1 garlic bread.... notice its missing another garlic bread and 2 bottles of drink?? we brought this up, the staff member confirmed 'yes, thats what they ordered' - but because she had put it into the till incorrectly, her co worker/managers attitude was; "To bad, she's new. that's what you paid for" absolutely appalling, and earnestly a breach of the consumer guarantees act. I will be taking this further, understandably, and warn others against this branch.
Filthy floors full of bird feathers and the kitchen leaves much to desire. I dont think the glass counter was ever cleaned since it was installed. Staff almsot never answers the phones either, never again. Rather spend my money elsewhere.
