Story

Wharf Street Eatery has recently changed management since September 2016 and has now become an Asian Fusion including Thai, Chinese and European cuisines. This local family business is located in the heart of Wharf Street, Downtown Tauranga and offer a range of services such as brunch, lunches, dinners, organisations and meetings - including a children's play area out the back of the restaurant, perfect for families. Wharf Street Eatery offer only to the highest of standard when preparing and presenting our food. We hope you see you come and enjoy our delicious range of Asian fusion cuisine with us soon!

A family run business...combined with good food and great service was a fantastic way to end the day. Prices were moderate and the atmosphere was calming. The only down side was the waiting time...which we were made aware of before we sat down...so in all fairness, in no way did the wait time detract from the excellent service or fantastic food!! Overall fantastic time and place to visit.

This place has an attractive, comfortable atmosphere and good food. The sauces were a bit sweet for our tastes, but we enjoyed our meal.

Enjoyed a great meal, loved the beef salad but overestimated my spice/heat tolerance and was caught off-guard by the chilli - however the lovely woman at the restaurant was very helpful and generous with offering a number of things to help cool the palate — including marshmallows, which was unexpected but great! Really appreciated the attentiveness, great customer service and food - would definitely recommend.
