The food in this establishment was simply breathtaking.  I've never had fish and chips so good in my life and I have lived in the UK the past 29 years.  The food was fresh, the eatery clean, the service immaculate.  The location is a bit out of the way but be assured, if you get a fish burger from this place, you will be eating a piece of heaven

We don't often get fish n chips but these guys have been our go to for a while and it's always been good. I Also love a good burger but have never really trusted fish n chip shops to do a decent burger.  A few nights ago I thought I'd give their Hawaiian burger a go and it definitely did not disappoint, it would rival any burger in town!!! Will definitely be trying more of their burgers!!

Fresh fish and beautifully cooked with crispy light batter and chips. Spring rolls are a refreshing change from the usual takeaway goop. Onion rings are the best I have tried. Well done, keep up the great service and quality food.

I must give a 5 stars for this one. Its Hawaiian burger, is better than most of formal "restaurant", consider it is a fast-food takeaway store. When I am eating the burger, even a random street stranger asked me" their burger is good, isn't it". It NEVER happened before. It is a public acknowledgement by the local community.  Also highly recommend Yorkshire Pork roast. Most difficult thing is not making fancy exotic food and get welcomed, The most difficult thing is making common daily food sophisticated and delicious.

Very generous portions of snapper and chips. The fish was very fresh and the crumbs very not too thick and very tasty. It was certainly worth the drive from the main city. ..  Parking: Park right outside.

chips could use a bit more salt. otherwise food was well cooked and crispy. dropped by to grab a takeaway and brought it to the beach. lovely experience in tauranga.

Best hot chips I've had in so so so long! Small but tidy shop - packed full of customers which is always a good sign.

Pretty disappointed to try this TA for the first time only for them to forget part of our order. We had to go back, which was out of our way and, TBH, their lack of concern was obvious they said that they would give us some extras, but didnt. Food was OK - mussels were rubbery, hoki was dry but the snapper was very good. Wouldn't go back anytime soon though.

Very long wait but just shows you how popular they are.   Really nice and fresh fish.   I like the crinkle cut chips .Food: 5/5

Recommended !! One of the best and wallet friendly places in town to have roast meals as well as fish and chips. squid rings $0.80 ea are highly recommended from this place. Roast meals are outstanding and very friendly staff.  orders are accepted over the phone for pickup.
