The only branch of Westpac in Oamaru. It is just in front of it, u may find P5 5 mins free parking if u r lucky. Else u would have to roam around finding a parking space unless u wanna pay for parking. Andy was the one who I dealt with for my banking need. He was helpful. Branch is closed during the weekends though. But the thing with Westpac is that compared to ANZ, they are not flexible. But ANZ don't accept foreign currency as of the day I wrote this review. So, a plus to Westpac for doing that.
Westpac Oamaru are the most helpful, professional and obliging group of people providing an amazing service. They are also the only bank in Oamaru that is open for service....well done. Will always be a Westpac customer.
Typical of Oamaru, their bank won't even let me into the lobby using my card after hours to use the ATM, so I was unable to withdraw money. Quite an inconvenience. Typed into Google for another Westpac ATM and headed for the one between the Four Square and Kawasaki motorcycle store. Arrive to find out ATM was pulled out over a year ago. Another inconvenience. Thankfully there was a Bank of New Zealand ATM at the New World up the road, which was only barely open, having jumped through hoops already.
