Worst Westpac I have ever been into. Staff aren't trained appropriately, when you do finally get served it's an effort for them to be nice. The security guard looked like he was assleep and was also rude.
I went in there at about 11:00 hoping to do a large bank transfer to another bank. The amount was larger than allowed so I had to wait a few minutes to have an appointment. They explained that I had to do a telegraphic transfer which normally cost $30. I tongue in cheek asked her to waive the fee which to my surprise, she did. It took 15-20 minutes from walk in to walk out which is pretty good for no appointment and needing a second staffer come to witness the paperwork for security. The staff numbers looked low and I'd imagine that lunch time would have long wait times but they were super helpful and could have easily told me to make an appointment to come back.
They closed their Sugerland branch so I had to go into the city to deposit some cash. BIG LINE and only ONE TELLER ! They had 5 staff running around trying to get everyone to use their wall machines, and only one real teller facing 10 angry customers. Yet $Billions in profit year after year. Truly ridiculous. Micro banks will take over the sector soon..
Well over a week ago we tried to deposit money into a bank account belonged to a family member in Bathurst . Took well over a week for somebody to call on a Friday after 5 and a long weekend to say it didn't work!! We went in and the very rude teller said it might be a bank we can't transfer to ....Why not say that at the start kept the $5 fee and sent us on our way . The bank across the road no fee no problem shame Westpac Bundaberg!!!
Just another bank thats hard to deal with high interest rates for loans dont want to help current customers. Go to a smaller banking institute or credit union stay away from the big banks
Absolutely worst bank I’ve dealt with in over 50 years of banking. Tellers won’t even count cash deposits have to put on a big show and dance about counting cash deposits. Move your banking to any of the others.
Poor Service, apparently the Bundaberg team hasn't been trained in phone operations. Have left messages and no one returns your call, not to mention the closing time on the message differs from the listed online time.
4 messages left in over 24 hrs to have a return phone call. Still waiting. No service or are not open anymore
I'd give it a zero if I could. Absolutely disgraceful. No service. An hour line waits.
