I took my elderly friend who is in a wheelchair into the ANZ bank in Bundaberg. We had to wait over 35 minutes in a queue.. she was getting very stressed and she has recently had 3 brain surgeries so needed my help. There was only ONE PERSON serving the queue we were in. While there were 3 other employees in a cubicle happily chatting away while 15 people were in the queue. We closed her account and now will not EVER BANK WITH THE ANZ AGAIN
Poor service has waiting for my atm card from 6 December 2022 I spent my birthday 14 andChristmas without a card even I call up they said 10 working days. When I walk up to the counter I was told posties may delayed. Till now no update. I'm from another country as well just got bundaberg how annoying it is. Would like the bank personal to put themselves in my shoes and feel the frustration Hopeless service
Half hour waits standing, seems to be a very inefficient way to run a branch. Really feel sorry for staff, the cop abuse but it is not their fault the way the bank has cut staff and branches. Makes me consider changing banks.
I used the money machine in the Hinkler mall. It took my card and wouldn't return it. I had to go to the branch to stop my card and get a new one. The young girl that helped me was very new to the job. I found her so genuinely friendly and helpful. What an asset to the bank she will be.
Have a good reports about Bundaberg ANZ bank ,staff are good ,just a bit of a waiting time, sometimes it's very tiring hanging around especially when you are a senior citizen.I have been there for over an hour. I can't imagine how any one else must feel ,certainly my husband who can't stand on his feet too long will certainly collapsed. We know that you are busy but a bit of consideration for older people will go a long way to minimise frustration.
Didn't appreciate waiting in line for a long time then when it was nearly my turn teller walked past me and other people and tended to another person the woman even said to her that she didnt was to jump the cue. That was on Friday morning very rude and ignorant teller short with dark hair was serving at the side . She told woman not to worry about us who were waiting. Feel like changing banks if this is how staff treat long time customers .
My husband waited 20 min to talk to someone by phone who knows where they are across the world was told to come into the bank to show id. We wanted to add me to an existing account that is only is his name. We went to the Bundy ANZ, stood in line for 15 min only to be told that 'no, you can't add someone to an existing account' and you need to make an appt, close the account, and open a new account - and 'no, you can't do it today and we are booked for a couple of weeks'. UNBELIEVABLY HORRIBLE SERVICE + COMPLETELY WRONG INFO ON THE PHONE! If I could rate it a 0 I would. And all this when ANZ has made plenty of money from the 2 mortgages we had for years and my husband is a share holder. How do these guys stay in business is beyond me!
Goodluck ever calling this bank. Made multiple calls and no answer. ANZ call centre emailed the bank for me to have them contact me and after a week wait I was still not contacted.
This bank has a huge understaffing issue. Anyone going to this bank can see that this Banks attitude of greed, having closed all other branches in Bundaberg but never bothered to employ enough staff to service customers at this branch. Staffing levels are too low to carry out daily banking activity. Customers are loosing precious time and energy having to wait in very long queue for a very long period of time to get things done. It took more than an hour for me to deposit money into another ANZ customers account. I was asked to come the next day to open a bank account.
Phone service is obviously off shore with ridiculously long wait times, if you can navigate your way through the confusing instructions! The lines at the bank are equally long. I cannot see how you find such poor service acceptable - if you were selling hot dogs, you'd be broke. My accounts are going elsewhere.
