Western Springs Park

Great place for concerts & lucky to get to this one before the traffic light restrictions. Small crowd this time, I heard 18,000 when the venue can hold 55,000. LAB were awesome as were all the Acts. Felt like summer in the pre Covid times, just for a bit

Absolutely gorgeous, spacious and huge park! Lots of space for a picnic, a game or exercise. Beautiful views of the lake.

One of the best parks in Auckland. Swans, ducks, geese, eels, bunnies, chickens.. the list goes on. A new playground has enhanced the family friendly vibe. Ample road side parking available. Highly recommended for a nice calm walk or a picnic.

This is my favourite park. You can walk around the lake and enjoy the company of ducks, swans, pukekoes and other birds. It's quite relaxing and amazing feeling.

A big and beautiful park in great location. Kids will have a great time. Good place for a walk.

Beautiful lakeside and green reserve. Have a kids playground facilities with public toilets. Earlier there were more birds like different species of ducks and fishes. But now very less animals live in the park. And park needs more cleaning work. Lake water is not clean like before.

Don't forget you sunscreen and hat. Frozen veg nice alternative to bread for feeding animals

Beautiful relaxing place with ponds and its birds, plenty of benches to chill on. Spent evening pleasantly there reading a book, watching sun nearing the horizon and birds following everyone with a hint of food in their hands.

Western Springs is a really nice suburb of Auckland to visit. It's just nice to walk through the park, or if you're like me and enjoy Speed Way, then it's the home of midget car racing. Fantastic.

What a great place in Auckland for family and great for kids so many ducks and duckling, swan hanging around in lake and across the walk way . This park has a very amazing walkway connecting from Auckland zoo to MOTAT . Great for family picnic in the summer holiday or in evenings. There is kids play ground too . U can have access from great north road too . Plenty of off road parking . Bring the breads loaf for feeding the ducks , it is so important to teach the kids how compassionate to nature , birds and animals
