Very good beach and park… very recommended for to spend with friends and family. Very relaxing place to wait for the sunset I loved it
Awesome sand beach in the city fringe, water is nice and clear and warm. I recommend despite the beauty to check safeswim, and be there with the high tide so that you can straight jump in. There are also floats in the water, to jump back into it. The trees give it also spaces in the shade if needed. Be there a little bit before high tide, so that you can secure a carpark.
Family place, well located. Shallow water, good to swim on high water, as bottom floor is muddy in low water you need to walk far. Beautiful sunsets
Lovely beach to swim at. Water is very clear and very calm, perfect for paddle boarding. Has plenty of shade on the grass area but not so much the actual beach so remember your hat and sunglasses in summer. Hands down one of my favourite Auckland beaches
Beautiful beach with a lot of lovely trees along the shore. You can enjoy the view under the shades of the tree. A recommended beach for swimming it's great during when the tide is high and summers are the best times to spend you day here by the beach. There is also a boat launch if you wish to get your boat into the waters on a lovely sunny day. It could be quite muddy and slippery during low tides. So be careful. There is also a cafe to grab a coffee if you get there during winter or colder weather Playground available for the kids to play. Good spot for a BBQ. Lovely walking area by the park. Toilet facilities and car parking facilities also available. If you go during the summer, there is an ice cream shop nearby and they do taste superb. So I'd say you get your self an ice cream and enjoy your day. Recommended for family outing and picnics.
Been there for the first time. It's a very nice beach. Very gentle tide, which is well suited for kids and children. Could see the crowd of all ages. Road side parking, first come first serve basis. Toilets are there, but maintenance is not up to the mark.
Great local beach, waters were calm and sea breeze was perfect on a sunny day. Playground for kids, plenty of grass area to pitch up a tent for the day. Limited parking but also street parking if carpark full.
Great beach ! Friendly locals Has a couple of pontoons to swim out to Change rooms and showers BBQ facilities Can take your dog - off lead too I’m sure .
Nice beach. There are pontoons that you can swim out to. Apparently sometimes the water smells weird here though.
It’s really really nice beach and park for BBQ, kids play games tolls, lots of car parking and some other facilities like you can swimming here. This place is really clam and quite when you come your mind will be Change. This change will give you refreshments.
