My all time go to place for breakfast, brunch . Starting off with coffee, it was so great. Breakfast had great presentation and was flavoursome. Have been here many times, but still cant get enough of the food and coffee.
Delicious breakfast and great coffee, yummy sweets + outstanding service from Ian! Perfect combo to start the day! Highly recommend this place ubereats with them is good too well organized no spill coffee with cling wrap and a crate and quality of coffee is just as always great! Thanks Sandra for always making my coffee so good!
Came here on a Sunday and whilst busy we managed to get a table straight away. Ordered the corn fritters and coconut eggs. Both dishes were great, coconut eggs in particular was very well balanced and super tasty, roti was a little too crispy for my liking but apart from that was a delicious dish. Coffees and fresh OJ were all up to par for a top Cafe. Service was prompt and friendly, look forward to coming back and trying more of the fairly extensive menu.
Great Cafe for breakfast and a coffee. I had the Shakshuka and the wife had the Corn Fritters. The Shakshuka was great, good flavour and went well with the bread. The fritters were even better because of the crunchiness and flavour. I've had bad experiences with fritters in the past were they might taste good but the texture is soggy or just not crispy enough. These did the job! Coffee was decent, not the best texture but it still tasted good.
Outstanding food focused cafe in West Footscray with gorgeous pastries and some interesting cocktails and wines by glass too, depending on whether you're after a traditional brunch or a recovery breakfast with some hair of the dog!
A great place for breakfast if you’re in the area. We arrived when it was busy and we sat outside for awhile before we could be moved inside, in winter. The staff are kind and welcoming.
West48 is one of those brunch places that never disappoint! Don’t think I’ve ever had a bad dish here. Tried the: • Mushroom Stack $19.5 • Corn Fritters $23 with Sujuk Safe to say I’ve found my favourite mushroom brunch dish!! Perfect balance of tender, flavoured mushies, sweet onion relish and creamy shaved manchego on top - this was amazing. The corn fritters were golden and crispy and came with delicious fried sujuk. Also very good!! the poach on the egg was perfect. p.s Their matcha lattes are creamy and not overly bitter. Would come back for this too!
Will definitely be coming back here! Coffee is good, the Oreo milkshake was amazing. And the food was incredible! Absolutely loved the vegetarian shakshuka and samvar coconut eggs especially! The staff are friendly and chatty, and the vibe of the place is lovely. Favourite Cafe in Melbourne so far!
Matcha latte and breaky dog with smoked kransky was nice. Would of loved the fried chicken burger to come in a brioche bun just like the cheese burger, rather than be served in half a pita bread. Needless to say, I wouldn't expect a souvlaki to come in a bun.
Among the best breakfast cafe’s I’ve ever been to. Everything was perfect, from the atmosphere and lighting, to the plants and food. It was like being immersed in a happy place, and I’ll be sure to come back again
