I thought the atmosphere was great, the food excellent unfortunatly the service was not up to scrach. Waiters werent able to provide info on wine list and rude at times
Went on a Melbourne Cup carnival race day and had a meal, a few beers and a few bets. The venue is a little depressing due to the number and sounds coming from the slot machines and the number of depressed looking pensioners pumping their cash into the machines.
Nice cosy pub to have a quiet meal or spend some money gambling
Pokies open til late. Nice staff.
Recently taken over by #burger love and I gotta say these burgers and the venue for it is beyond awesome! Spatious to fit a large amount of customers and then off to the pokies next door! Perfect!
I had not been to the Powell for years and was pleasantly surprised by its transformation. Good meals especially if you never eat those token pub salads that accompany meals. Food come with chips only. The staff in the bistro are wonderful and friendly. Great to go there after visiting family in the local hospital.
The $10 parma is a premium at $10. I’d rather eat my shoe. Feel like I’d feel better after it.
The steaks are reasonably good but I found I enjoyed the pasta more and the prices were very reasonable
