Poons is old school Aussie style Chinese that your mum and dad use to take  you too and that's not a bad  thing. The food is really  nice. We have been  meaning to visit for many years. The only reason I dropped a star is at this time they don't do EFTPOS.

Really enjoy coming here to eat. Have been coming here for many years and the food never disappoints. Great place to come for any function. Food is always fresh and the staff very friendly and prompt service. Great value for money.

Top quality ingredients. Very quick service when we were there. Just remember to ring ahead/book ahead if you're after one of the dishes with ingredients they don't keep on hand.

Retro flashback to 80/90's Chinese restaurant decor. Food is typical Chinese made for Ozzy tastes. You will find classics such as sweet and sour pork and lemon chicken with fried rice and prawn crackers!  And don't forget deep fried ice cream! All at very reasonable price

Just went there for dinner my daughter got chicken satay and half way through felt chicken bone scratch her mouth. Complained and was told “very sorry” when I went to pay was charged full price for the meal which obviously she did not finish. Argued but got nowhere. No more Poon’s for me. Beware!!!

I have been going here for years and years haven't been back for years and guess what never ever changed or updated the place all original as it was over 15 years easy lol still nice food.

I ordered their sizzling steak and side of rice. The mains was a bit more wet than I hoped for but still tasted good.

Worst chinese ive ever had! Stirfrys where so full of cornflour and no flavour. Dumplings where soggy and no flavour. Fancy serving that slop and charging people for it. Half hour late too!
