Lack of customer service especially after booking. Took 5 days to have payment confirmed, no response to messages left and emails sent. Check in slow, not advised of $300 security bond, was Advised this would be returned on check out. Upon checking out advised refund would take 3-5 days. Just not good enough. Apartment clean and comfortable, hot water slow to come through in shower. We won’t be staying here again, based solely on lack of customer service and communication, which is a shame because cost and location were good
We were really disappointed with our recent stay at Waterside. Our room smelt like something had died in it since entering to time we left. It was also very dirty. They make you pay $300 on arrival extra and give back after stay but given how cheap everything is in room and cheaply done, it can’t be justified when some posh hotels have a $200 charge instead. Do not recommend.
We stayed here the last two nights having unfortunately booked with no cancellation. The apartment was small, dirty and sparsely furnished and lifeless. Couch blocked bedroom entrance. Floors look like they have never been cleaned or vacuumed! No customer service. How this place got any stars is amazing. We will stick to Hotels when staying in Melbourne in future.
Worst service we have ever received. We attempted to cancel our stay 2 weeks prior to our booking due to covid-19. No refund or credit. Owner extremely and no one was willing to help or discuss options. Would never recommended.Service: 1/5
We have been unable to use our accommodation credit as there are never any dates available. In addition, there has been no way to contact these people. Would love to hear from you!
The hotel is at a good location. Shame that the owners/management are poor. Would not recommend to anyone. They asked for a $300 bond which was not refunded and will make excuses to why they can’t refund it. Overall horrible experience.Rooms: 1/5
DO NOT BOOK WITH WATERSIDE COLLECTION. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS. THEY WILL NOT HELP AT ALL. THEIR AD SAYS "FREE CANCELLATIONS" BUT ONCE YOU HAVE BOOKED, THEY KEEP YOUR MONEY AND TREAT YOU LIKE YOU'RE NOTHING. THEY DO NO CARE ABOUT ANYONE. WARNING THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY.Rooms: 1/5
