Fishbowl Bar has good food. Their cheesecurds are divine, the chicken sandwich was delicious, and the side salad I also ate was fantastic. They also have delicious drinks. I like that they partnered with a local high school to have a raffle in order to raise money for the football team. I also enjoyed the friendly, warm staff. I will be coming back here, and I would recommend this establishment to my friends and family.
Limited menu this past Tuesday for lunch due to worker shortage. We had a few of the pizzas and the this crispy crust was excellent. There are some video games to keep your kiddo busy if needed
Solid bar food and atmosphere. Reliable burgers, reasonable service. The locals will stare at you walking in, but don't let that stop you.
What can you say?? Awesome drinks, monstrous size meals, sandwiches and appetizers!! Always the best service and friendly people! You can even win a lobster meal for $2.00! Don't pass is up! Excellent!
Drove in off the dusty trail on our ATVs on a Wednesday afternoon. Had a couple cold refreshing beers and ordered the combo appetizer. We got a ton of food for our money. Mini tacos and cheese quesadillas were excellent! Was given to-go containers that were “trail friendly”. Overall a great cozy spot that won’t disappoint. Recommended !!
Awesome service and even better food. Had the bowl burger, and it was amazing. Our waitress was courteous, checked on us, etc. The atmosphere was perfect. I have no idea what the f*** Karen below reviews was talking about! Obviously looking for a freebie!
This is a common stop for us on the way to our cabin. Their Bloody Mary is outstanding and the food here is second to none. I have never been disappointed with a meal here and our last stop Saturday was no exception. Everyone in our party raved about the meal. I ordered the pork cutlet. It was fantastic! So much food!!! and the price was just right. THANK YOU FISHBOWL for the outstanding service, food and fellowship : Oh and the the hot pull tab box paid for our lunch ;
Came to ride the side x side and stumbled upon this place on Tuesday and had a wonderful prime rib dinner. Says 10oz but had to be 12 to 14. Great service and great food. We will be back next year.
Worst service ever. Came in with 6 people and ordered food. I walked up to the counter where the 3 waitresses were standing and asked if they could accommodate 12 people because we had a group on their way. Figured I’d give them a heads up when I asked, the response I got from the blonde waitress was “Does it look like it”. My whole group couldn’t believe how bad the service was and how rude the waitress was. I ordered a burger and mozzarella sticks. She asked me if I would like them right away. I said yes. I never got the mozzarella sticks, so I asked again after I was done with my burger. She said they would be right out. 15 minutes later she brought out our checks, with the mozzarella sticks that I never got still on the bill. We frequent Danbury with a large groups every year. We will never be back.
Came for a meal and was suckered into a medium well burger...**as that was the only thing offered period!****** 3/4 of us got WELL DONE % BROWN burgers, husband didn't get his 3rd topping. And waitress was extremely rude. Will never return. Don't even need to screenshot their response! Read through any negative review here, they don't care about you as a customer! Edit: Atmosphere is what I'd expect in a Dive? Don't know where they got off the high horse and thought I need God to praise their fishing trophies? Get real I actually liked the fishing lures and hunting theme. Obviously you got another bad review that deleted not me.
