Very wide variety of birds, fishes and many other animal equipment! Good to have a place where you can interact freely with the birds, rather than most other pet shops or zoo. If you dont have a fear for birds and want to be more up front and personal with them, this place is a definite must to visit!
Today I went into the store to buy a blotched blue tongue lizard. All the staff there were very helpful and friendly, I asked one of the staff if it would be possible to pay for the lizard now and come back and collect it in a couple days as I had to arrange some stuff with the lizard's tank, mostly finding and buying lights from other stores as the ones here are very over priced especially compared to other stores. The staff member said they would ask the manager as they were unsure if that was possible. The manager came over to us, I asked her if it was possible to hold the lizard at the store, the manager responded very rudely, seemed annoyed with us, talked down to us and came across very snarky, she even seemed annoyed at the employee despite the employee having done nothing wrong and was just trying to assist us to the best of their abilities. I won't be shopping here again, the manager was too rude to us and her own employees.
Slightly pricy, but the variety here is great! I purchased two axolotls, a filter pump ans a few danios from here. Staff were very helpful. Definitely coming back next time I need supplies.
I was changing my 5 Stars to 3 Stars. I recently visited the store to buy new fish. The person who served was vulgar and had no respect. I went on a weekday afternoon when the crowd was zero. I feel insulted by the way they did the service. Please train your staff to show some respect.I will think twice again about going to the store again.
Always get great advice, they don’t try to talk me into bigger better gear, awesome customer service and very competitive pricing!
Went into Waterlife Aquarium today and was served by Dakota. He was very helpful and gave us some great advice as it's the first time we have had fish as pets. My son was over the moon with his Axolotl & Comet. Great service and environment.
GREAT SERVICE! Special thanks to Jayden, Dakota and Glenn, they're very accommodating and patient with us as we don't know anything about aquariums. They sorted everything out for us. Service at its best!!!
I'd just like to say a big thanks to Dakota! We waited 30 or so minutes for some help as it was very, very busy as it was the day the 5km restrictions lifted to 10km The staff were literally running around the store. We were more than happy to wait, and Dakota really made it worth our time. We had previously purchased an axolotl package from Waterlife, and were concerned about ammonia levels. Dakota took his time to explain everything, and I felt very comfortable asking him questions. He found solutions that met our situation and needs, and provided us with the knowledge to resolve our issue. The ammonia in our tank has come down drastically following the addition of a live plant and a carbon filter even though our tap water has ammonia in it. This is thanks to Dakota. We are really happy with the service and are repeat customers.
Went to buy a cockatiel bird and all the trimmings. Very helpful staff. Told us everything we needed to know and guided us in our purchases. Plenty of beautiful cages to pick from and heaps of birds. Also looks like a great place to buy an aquarium.
If I could give a zero I would. We purchased a 4K tank from here, still under warranty and the lights stopped working. We had a technician come out a month and a half ago and we’re told a “special” part needs to be ordered it will be 2 weeks. I have consistently followed up on the progress of this order with no one being able to provide any further details of the whereabouts and an ETA. I have loss track of the amount of people who have promised to follow up and call back and never do. Today I finally had the technician back and it turns out the “special” part has still not been ordered. Worst customer experience ever. I strongly suggest to find another place if you’re considering buying an aquarium
