I've been into the Gilles Plains shop twice now and both times have had fantastic service. Purchased both times. Highly recommend shopping at Ward Shoes.
Great Customer Service and range - I broke my foot a few years ago and now feet are different size and I have many other issues when trying to find shoes. The staff at Wards were friendly, understanding and knew what products to recommend. I have tried so many other places and never found what I needed. Thank you to the staff at Wards I will be returning to Wards whenever I need new shoes now.
Good old fashioned and very long established shoe store. Has a great range of men's, women's and children's shoes. Friendly service from knowledgeable and experienced staff. Really good for children with a large seating bench and expert sizing. Have been a customer for many years. Highly recommended.
I have been wanting to purchase a pair of Birkenstock’s for a while and not knowing my size wanted to be fitted properly and with this service happy to pay more than buying online. I tried several other shops in Adelaide, many of which had nothing in stock! Ward’s had a great range and staff were super helpful and friendly. Price was just as good as online, without the hassle of incorrect fitting... Highly recommend!

Not at all impressed with service from male assistant today - he was very off-hand almost to the point of rudeness. It was fairly obvious that my husband is cognitively impaired, but we received practically no help from assistant. I remember when shoe salespeople would actually fit the shoe onto the foot, tie the laces etc. - not today! Having spend over $200 on shoes for my husband I felt angry when leaving the store. We won't be buying our shoes there again.
