#SAFETY_CONCERNnnIn January, I had a deeply distressing experience at Victoria Gardens Shopping Centre that continues to affect me, prompting this review. While walking on the footpath near the Rebel shop, I was targeted by individuals in the car park above, who were throwing soft drink bottles. This left me and my belongings soaked, and this reckless behavior endangered several customers, including women and children.nnI was disappointed when I approached the shopping center manager after the incident. At the very least, I needed a tissue as I was all wet and sticky, but instead, I was advised to continue shopping. While I acknowledge that the shopping center is not directly responsible for the actions of those individuals, the way the situation was handled was deeply disappointing. I couldn't ask for the camera footage because it was against the car park data privacy and I also received no response regarding the investigation result after contacting their customer service.nnThe incident was something no one should have to endure, especially in a public space located in a residential area with families and children. This raises serious concerns about the adequacy of the security measures in place. I have never come back to the shopping center since then because I still feel scared after that day even though it used to be my regular-visiting place.nnI hope this review encourages the shopping center to make the necessary improvements rather than offering mere lip service and also raises awareness among other customers to take care of themselves when walking under the car park to avoid such unwanted incidents.
I recently visited IKEA Richmond at Victoria Gardens Shopping Centre and wanted to share my experience. The parking facilities were ample, and it was convenient to access the lifts that took us up to the IKEA store. Inside, the layout and cafe were what I expected, with no significant changes.nnHowever, I was disappointed with the quality of the food at the cafe. The options seemed to be poorly prepared and lacking in taste. I would suggest not bothering with the food if you visit.nnAdditionally, I noticed that the prices of the furniture on display, considering they require assembly, were quite high. It felt like they were charging exorbitant amounts for items that you would still need to put together yourself.nnAfter navigating through the maze-like walkways and display areas, we left with only a few miscellaneous household items. It made me realize that I would rather support local businesses with more reasonable prices.nnOverall, while IKEA Richmond provided convenient parking and a typical IKEA experience, I was disappointed with the food quality and the high prices of the furniture.
The place you can find many different shops.cheaper It’s remain looks new and very clean and convenient. It’s a big place.
The parking here is insane. I went to see a movie and had my parking validated. This is supposed to give you a few hours free.nnHowever I still paid the full time I was there when I left. I checked their website and this is because even if you get four hours free, if you stay longer than four hours you have to pay for the full time you were there regardless.nnConsidering most other places would deduct the hours, and some even have free parking, all of which also have a cinema, I don't think I'll be back.
It's passable for the Richmond area I suppose, the selection of shops is decent for a medium sized shopping centre, but it doesn't have much else separating it from the mass of others, aside from the IKEA, as that appears to be the main reason why you'd come here in the first place. Also you would think that this place would have multiple floors of shops, but it doesn't, it's only reserved for one store.
