Have been asked three times now to call back : First and second time I was told there was only one pharmacist and she can’t take my call as she is busy which is super understandable. Called the third time and was told they were closing in 5 minutes and as such can’t order my medicine but will call back tomorrow morning - the staff Alice or Alex?was monotone and didn’t appear to care. I’m here to order my medicine that helps with my severe migraine, it would be nice to be supported in this : Hoping they’ll call me tomorrow morning
Easily the best chemist on Glenferrie road. Every time I come in, I’m always greeted by staff. And shown were things are rather than pointed like the big guys up the road… special mentions to Alex, Sue and Kayla for serving me and giving me incredible service.
Customer service at this place is horrible. I was waiting in line ready to make my purchase, and the only member of staff on the floor other than those in the dispensary refused to help me, instead they walked another customer around the store. And then, when they finally came to the register, they decided they were going to put that customer through first despite myself and another customer waiting and told me to go elsewhere. Absolutely despicable.
I wouldn't get covid booster there... someone told me they don't use swabs before the injection not sure why...other pharmacies do it why doesn't Terry White Hawthorn
Sue was super helpful and understanding while trying to organise getting an item externally. She kept me up to date, handled all the due processes and made what could have been an annoying process seemingly easy. Highly recommend this pharmacy for their customer service and affordable products. All staff are friendly and helpful!
Every pharmacist, other than they're always busy very understandable, the customer service here is attentive and genuinely caring. I've been going to this pharmacy for the past 2 years & would love to give 5 stars, however due to the pharmacist I interact with on the Sunday's I come in - I only feel comfortable giving 4. My experience on these days has been hostile customer service & has now lead feel unable to come in on days where I need my medication. I hope this issue gets rectified as this is a genuinely great pharmacy & team on the weekdays.
Prefer supporting these guys as their service is always top notch. Not sure of the shop assistant’s name is who always serves me during the week but she is AMAZING and so incredibly helpful. Short, brown hair, glasses. She’s quick and points me in the direction of everything I need. Do yourself a favour and sign up to their loyalty program and you won’t need the discount pharmacy down the road!
Edited: All good things must come to an end in life it seems. I called this morning to place my usual order and instead of the great customer service I’ve grown accustomed to from the team there, I was instead met with hostility for pointing out what their own process has been for the last 8 months I have been ordering. Each month I order I’ve paid a set amount for my order + one postage fee, however if not all the items are in stock they send the items available in one lot of post and then send the other stock when it comes in to them by another parcel again. My order value is $560 and I’m charged $15 for postage I don’t have more than $575 budgeted, and this is for medication I need I was told there is no way this could have ever happened so in essence I must be a liar, I asked them to review my orders, they said no they won’t do that and “if you don’t want to engage with our services you’re welcome to find another pharmacy” when I said that they’d called me a liar and it would be easy to check the orders to see I’m not lying about it This is the worst service I’ve probably ever received, shame it’s from the same place that once provided great service Despite how incredibly manically busy they always are all hats off to them all they all remain super polite and outstandingly/magically helpful, which is just very awesome & fantastic to experience. Special shout out to Alex who not only made my life easier today, she also made this review possible by encouraging me to chuck it on here too, Alex is currently the MVP today as deemed by me and others most likely, and the others should bow to her skills being greater than theirs. Merry Christmas everyone or Happy Holidays whatever doesn't rock the boat!
**EDITED TO ADD** Pharmacist reported to Ahpra. And in order to continue ensuring “all customers’ electronic script requirements are satisfied”, it would be helpful if they remembered to issue the prescription repeat token so that customers don’t have to return to their doctors for new scripts. The last time I visited for my company issue flu shot 2021, they lost the booking. I had the receipt for this booking, as well as the receipt for the lost e-script referenced by Andrew below. At that time, I was actually yelled at across the pharmacy floor. And admonished by the needle-administering pharmacist, right before the jab. Vowed not to return, but it was convenient for me to attend Terry White today and I gave them the benefit of doubt. Unfortunately. This issue is not specific to e-scripts. Additionally. My original review unedited below did not mention prescriptions or e-scripts. Andrew’s direct reference to the purpose of my visit to this pharmacy is a flagrant breach of my rights as a patient. According to health.vic.gov.au, “Doctors, nurse practitioners and pharmacists who are involved in your care are authorised under law to access information about your prescription history in SafeScript, without your express permission, for the purpose of ensuring your safety when prescribing or dispensing high-risk prescription medicines." ... but I don't know that this extends to providing my personal pharmaceutical details to anybody accessing Google Maps. REVIEW 07/03/22: Seemingly deliberately difficult and interrogatory. Feels like it’s a hassle for them that you came in.
Great service - the young girl who assisted me was super helpful and knowledgeable.
