So much to do here, from looking at birds in the avory, to big long walks, some next to the river, beaitiful flowers and a duck pond, coffee shop and a splash pool for kids as well as a train ride. Perfect place to chill and great for families

The most beautiful park in Palmerston North. There is a big rose garden with lots of rose species. The Wildbase Recovery Center is a good place for enhancing and understanding wildlife animals in New Zealand . A long walking road near the park, across a small forest, makes us feel like escaping the daily busy routine. A wonderful place to go and enjoy the nature!
I go there so many times! It’s perfect for picnics. The flowers in spring and summer are so colourful. It brings me a peace of mind! If you take your time to carefully explore the park, you will love it even more. I’d definitely recommend you going there on a nice sunny day for a stroll. There’s also a cafe! Many sitting areas and birds enclosures.
Absolutely stunning park with lots of trails for walking/ bike paths.nIt would take days to discover everything.nRose gardens were phenomenal.nClean & Safe for walking as a woman.nThe river ads a nice touch.nGo because you won’t regret it.
