Great find in North Balwyn.nnENTREEn the ricotta frittatas were spectacular.n pizza was perfect.nMAINSn the mains were very good- Parma, Risotto Pescatore was a little watery but still good and Calamari was fine.nn excellent service and ambiencennIt loses a point - the Parma, asked for no dressing on the salad and it came drenched in dressing. Someone didn’t listen. So really a quarter of the meal wasn’t eaten so that’s disappointing.nnStill will 100% be back.
Extremely disappointing experience. The restaurant wasn’t even half full yet we had to call waiters over each time we wanted to order food / drink. The worst part of the evening was the gnocchi that was ordered. $30.50 per plate for gnocchi that had very clearly frozen and re-heated despite the restaurant’s denial. A majority of pieces were ice cold when bitten into. Will not be going back again.
I dined here on Valentine's Day. There was a lovely welcoming atmosphere and attractive Valentine decorations. The staff were friendly and efficient. My meal was delicious - veal limone, with the flavours perfectly balanced, and a wonderful passionfruit panacotta. I felt $70 for two courses, wine and coffee was a very fair price for such an excellent meal. I would be glad to return.
Pizza was terrible, dry, burnt, and almost without any toppings. I do think even a super-bad cook would prepare pizza better. Shame on you Via Condotti in Balwyn North
This restaurant my friends tried and were disappointed. we fell for it too. they won't see us anymore. high prices and poor food. The two of us tried a pizza, worse than the kitchen. you can see that there is no longer the pizza chef from before. now everything can be defined as not an Italian restaurant. close it is better.
