Lived at Varsity Shores and had a really good experience. The facilities are great and it’s a comfortable place to live — only about a 5-minute walk to uni.nnWhen I first moved in, I wasn’t familiar with everything and kept popping into the office with questions. The staff were always friendly and happy to help, and there are regular security patrols which made it feel safe.nnWould definitely recommend it to other students.

Varsity Shores should get negative stars ! Nobody should rent a room for students at Varsity Shores. The rooms and especially the provided furniture have passed their meaningful lifetime by far. The mattress ist even dirty. I had mould in the fridge when I moved in. It is simply a disaster. I post this comment to warn other students especially those that come from abroad or far away and can’t check the room beforehand. I left after some days I did not want to risk my health.nnLook at flatmates that is far better.
Great student accommodation with a quiet and respectful environment. Mostly students live here, so it’s perfect for studying. The bond process was clear and fair, and management was helpful throughout.nnWould recommend to other students.
I had a generally positive experience during my initial stay at Varsity Shores, particularly under the original management, who were professional and responsive. However, around halfway through my 4-month lease, new management took over and my experience declined significantly. Unfortunately, the new manager, Kelly, and assistant Gerald, were unprofessional and at times disrespectful. I was told one thing and experienced another, particularly regarding my bond refund—an unreasonable amount was withheld without clear explanation. While the location is great, future tenants should be aware of the current management's conduct and potential issues with transparency and communication.
