The pluses: the cleaning company does a pretty good job, so the common areas are usually clean; location is decent-ish if you want proximity to the Uni. The minuses: the list is long. Zero amenities (no pool, no gym). Very limited parking. Units facing the street are very noisy – ones facing the parking lot are somewhat quieter, but there are still the garbage trucks, delivery trucks, noise from the restos, etc. The building is serviced by only one energy company (meter2cash) – you cannot choose any other provider. Building/unit’s management is hopelessly incompetent – enter units without notice, allow others (tradies, agents) to enter units without asking/notifying, say they’ll send forms but don’t, can’t seem to fix anything (they “fix” it – it breaks again… and again), didn’t bother to take an application from the tenant, didn’t do an entry condition report at the start of tenancy, or ensure the unit is clean upon vacating … What the owners are paying them for, I really do not know. Really wish I’d known all these things at the start - learn from my experience, save yourself the endless annoyance and hassle, and AVOID this building.
