I've worked with Hendrik and Van Leeuwen Green for many years as a consultant and now as a lecturer in horticulture at Burnley Horticultural College (now a campus of the University of Melbourne). Van Leeuwen Green have been a pleasure to work with. Hendrik has worked with us on a long term plan and he has been more than happy to break our project up into financially manageable parts - these will be implemented in stages over a period of 12 months. We recently purchased an older property east side of Melbourne with a decent sized outdoor area. However, it was just a void space. We set out to do the work ourselves and headed off to the local plant nursery. Chatting to the owner, we became overwhelmed with what was involved, that’s when Hendrik was recommended to us. I thought landscapers were typical tradies who charged inflated prices, were rarely on time, and making excuses for below par work. When we met Hendrik and walked around the space, his in-depth knowledge and enthusiasm gave us great confidence. When the landscapers arrived, we knew we were in good hands; always on time, approachable, always courteous and clean. As a whole, the Van Leeuwin Green team are a skilful and professional outfit. They have created an exceptional entertaining area and garden that extends the house to the outside, and the outside inside. It has added such a special value to our home, without the expense.
