Story

Free range chickens are sourced from Greenslade's at Riverton. All poultry is South Australian produce.

We make an extensive range of salads (more than 20!) fresh on premises every morning. The best of SA produce is used to ensure the best tasting salads around.

Catering is a specialty at Urban Chicken. Give us a call to obtain a quote and some advice as to salad selection and quantities. Delivery is available subject to advance notice for catering orders.

Very disappointed. Thurs night I managed to snag the last chook they had. Not only was it tender and delicious but the stuffing was definitely the best I've ever tasted! Staff were very warm and friendly. I'd recommend them to anyone.
It is rare I do this... It is only the Special ones who get mention ... This Wild little shop gets my Thumbs UP... Finding a shop that takes the time to do even Fish and Chips properly is rare.... You want well cooked Take away foods, go here....These guys and Gals have it right.... I am a TC and will TRUMPET the food here ... GET INTO IT!!!!
Phone order a chicken schnitzel burger with no tomato and add cheese. Burger ended up with no cheese and had tomato. The schnitzel was awful. Worse than a frozen homebrand from coles. Processed, small and absolutely gross. Potato cake was undercooked, chips were the only positive.
1/4 Chicken pack with salad. Salads were days old, Soggy tomatoes, discoloured coleslaw and chicken very dry. Very disappointed. Unable to eat!! No love went into this meal
Shop could do with a bit of a makeover as its looking pretty rundown, shop was quite noisy and abit hard to place the order as its hard to hear the worker taking your order as well as being in abit of a rush, seems the shop echoes abit maybe. Apart from that the grilled fish was quite nice, had abit of a crust on it and the chips weren't too bad either
Good chips, but that's not enough. Quality of other menu items is not great. Seems like every time we order, something is wrong or missed. And I'm not talking about changes, I mean menu items missing ingredients, like a hot pack coming with no gravy etc. I used to think this place was great, but I've been burned too many times now and won't be back any time soon. A real shame.
Easily the best chips south of the city. It's our work favorite most weeks and 100% been happy every single time. Keep it up
