Urban Activation

It has been very pleasant working with Sam Sheedy, he has been extremely friendly, considerate and helpful in helping us move into the apartment. He has even given us some nice tips on what to look out for when looking into an apartment. I feel with a lot of other agents, in my experience, the tenant isn’t taken into consideration. So It was very refreshing to know that Sam also kept our best interest in mind, in addition to the landlords. He has also been very responsive to questions and very helpful in directing me to the appropriate people to talk to regarding moving in. Overall I had a lovely experience with him. I look forward to working with him throughout our tenancy and would gladly recommend him to others.

After moving several times over the last few years, we have had to deal with some pretty poor real estate agents. That is not the case here! It’s easily been the best situation we have dealt with for some time. We have been dealing with Adam here, and he's been really good to us. From the moment we walked through this property, we felt we like all our questions had been answered and delivered upon. It’s been a world of difference from what we have been used too. To be able to ask questions and require service to the property, and have it chased up promptly and efficiently. We look forward to staying in this property and knowing that if any issues arise, we can reach out and someone will do their best to sort it ASAP.

During my Apartment rental process, Adam from Urban activation provided us an excellent service. There's a problem in our apartment that we rented and he immediately took action to fix it. He replies to all of our message/ emails very quickly unlike any other agents i have encountered. I hope to observe this kind of service all the time.

The purchase of our apartment went through quickly and professionally. Adam resolved any minor issues that we came across extremely efficiently. We were very happy with the process. We would recommend his services.

I have recently purchased a 2 Bed Apartment at Tommy Apartments. We have worked with Sam from the begging. He listened and showed patience completely understoood what we wanted. We are so happy with the Apartment and couldn’t thank Sam enough for his professionalism through the whole process. My wife isn’t easy to deal with. Thanks Sam

Review Very unprofessional and unorganised company. 1000% DO NOT recommended. At the beginning of our tenancy there was a range of issues in our apartment that we asked to be fixed at Adams earliest convenience, only ONE issue was resolved due to several messages and calls being sent as it was quite urgent, everything else was disregarded throughout the entirety of our tenancy with not a single thing being followed up. When vacating the premises Adam became aggressive and extremely rude towards us, we were being changed $572 to clean a single wall and our balcony. After our inspection he proceeded to call us with the first phrase being “are you serious” - not even a hello. He advised us that a professional clean was needed even after us going to the property several times to deep clean the areas he had specified we’re not up to his “standard”. No where in our contract does it state a professional clean is required upon vacating. He refused to talk to me as I am not directly his “client” my partners name was on the lease and told me he would not be answering my questions. Fast forward to getting our bond back, we were ignored for several weeks, sent text messages and emails with no response. Very disappointed at the level of professionalism from this company and from Adam specifically.

Terrible and dishonest agency. We purchased apartment at 1 Nelson at Ringwood as investment with rental guarantee that supposed to be fulfilled by Urban. They not only fail to deliver the rental guarantee as a management agency they do not proactive provide condition report, rent review, tenant selection and no responses for months. Kurt from Urban is the worst agent you can find in town. Not responsive and not willing to help the landlord.

Special mention to Adam Faigen for making our experience from Urban Activation commendable. We had few issues after we moved in at our new apartment and he made it possible to fix it right away. It’s also our first time to have a real estate agent who’s quick to respond to any emails and make calls to make sure we’re alright.

I wish I could post the stars as minus values Worst company I have dealt with. No response to emails or messages. Follow up 100 times to fulfill their rental gaurantee contract. They have made our investment in the property very difficult.

I cannot recommend Adam Faigen from Urban Activation enough !! He made my move back to Melbourne very easy and seamless! I was moving from interstate so couldn’t attend viewings myself but he went out of his way to send me videos of the property and was always available via phone or email if I had any questions and nothing seemed to be to much of a problem ! Definitely one of the best companies I’ve dealt with Thanks again Adam !!
