If you are a woman avoid this place at all costs. They have been ignoring my health concerns for years and as a result I now have even worse problems. I asked for a specific kind of medication because I would get sick from the alternatives, they knew this and gave me the wrong one anyway, I did in fact get sick and then they acted like it was my fault and all they had to say was “that’s not normal” about the long term side effects it caused and then gave me anxiety medication for anemia that the box literally says you shouldn’t take if you have anemia???? This is just one of the more recent issues, they were constantly brushing off and laughing at my concerns and treated me like I was stupid just because I am young. Another time I didn’t give them my consent for a shot because the last one got me hospitalised but they tried to give me it anyway by asking my parent for consent behind my back and who they know is mentally disabled and when I told them to back up they told me they’d seen MY KIND before and if I was going to be aggressive to get out when I hadn’t done anything other than ask them to put the needle down. They’ve demonstrated repeatedly they do not care about women’s opinions and if you also happen to be under the age of 30 you might as well just give up on any hope of them hearing you out.
I have never met someone so unprofessional as a woman named Taylor the receptionist. She was extremely rude to myself, I was a first time patient at this practice, and it will definitely be my last. I am absolutely discussed.
I have been with Dr Ahmed for over 10 years and he is very busy but he will advise you in the right direction. His practice Urangan medical Centre is a very busy practice. The Practice Manager is great and so is the staff. They are efficient. The wait times can be long but you learn to expect that, it really depends on how sick or complicated the patients are, therefore you may have a longer than expected wait. So patience is a virtue and staff try their best with some of the other patients to make sure they remain calm and reassured. Thank you for all the help and support you have given me over the years.
Great experience visiting this medical centre. Reception staff were friendly and helpful and the doctor I seen for my sick child was amazing. Couldn’t have asked for better care.
I had a confirmed over-the-phone appointment to receive results from a previous blood test. After waiting over an hour with no contact, I called the clinic myself. I was answered by Kirsty, who very dismissively informed me that I would not be receiving a call back from my doctor - despite the confirmed booking. Before I could even request to reschedule or book a physical appointment, the call was abruptly ended.nnThis experience was incredibly disappointing and unprofessional. Clear communication and basic courtesy should be an absolute standard in regards to medical care.
