I took my beloved Jack Russell to UQ for his final vet visit. He had been surviving with Cushing Syndrome Disease for a year and a half, but at 11 years of age, his time had come to an end. Way too soon!nDr Elisa was so compassionate that even she became teary-eyed.nMy little buddy fell asleep peacefully and quickly in my arms.nRIP Sniper

THE SEQ area is extremely lucky to have his skill and expertise.nnAfter 10 years of regularly attending the clinic with my dogs and, in particular, my Eculutus Parrots.nI have recently had to move over 4 hours away. After a few minor incidents, we were forced to visit some alternate practices in the Brisbane area who claimed to specialise in small animals and, in particular birds.nOmg..... you know that old sayingnnyou don't know what you have till it's gone! This was certainly the case!nnAfter 2 unsuccessful, stressful, and very expensive attempts to solve the problems with my female eculutus at two new vet clinics.nThe emergency reception staff were so accommodating and helpful as always andnWe made the 9 hour return trip to see Dr Bob at UQ small animals.nAnd as always, his amazing knowledge and insight was so refreshing and reassuring.nWe got the problem sorted without issue.nI was charged far , far less than anticipated, considering the other vet charges, and my girl was in the best of hands with the whole team being so warm and helpful.nI honestly can't speak highly enough of the team and bobs knowledge, skill with surgery, and understanding of Parrot behaviours in particular. it just amazes me.nThanks againnGreatly appreciated as always
Very caring and compassionate team. My girl had concerning symptoms. The team ran appropriate tests and monitored her, providing regular updates and discharge medication. Their charges were very reasonable too. I highly recommend UQ vets.
Lovely team . Had university students examine Calypso under the supervision of an experienced vet. I felt that they were very thorough, listening and explaining each step . The team at the front desk was very lovely. I think we have found a good place for Kiss-Me-Calypso should she need a vet visit.
