We had a wonderful stay at this peaceful motel. The owner was extremely helpful and hospitable. We felt extremely welcome and enjoyed our stay, even for a day longer than originally planned. The location is central, close to Four Square and several cafes and right opposite the RSA. It has a comfy BBQ area and good laundry facilities as well.
It is an amazing place to stay in. I stayed for 10 weeks in the motel for my placements. Leslie and Cherie the managers are amazing human beings and they made my stay in Taumarunui just like stay at home. Hospitality is top level. Must recommended place to stay if you come to Taumarunui.nCya around Leslie and Cherie.nLots of love,nAJ
Super comfy - we had the Pine Cottage - 3 single beds in lounge, decent dining table and kitchen with full fridge stove * microwave. 2 bedrooms with Queen beds. Tonnes of power points and extension cords. Super handy to town. Right across the road is the RSA
The staff at this motel were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The rooms were well equipped with everything we needed and were well serviced every day. The heater and heat pump were turned on before our arrival making our room lovely and warm and even had the electric blankets turned on for us.nI would highly recommend Twin Rivers Motel if you prefer a homely atmosphere for your stay in Taumarunui, it's well worth it.
10/10 Accommodation near the town centre. Wonderful owners. The type of place you feel comfortable staying when travelling
