We stayed for one night. Paid $150nnShowed up at about 10:30pm. Room was unlocked key inside. Everything was clean, however the room was small not a big issue for us room was outdated. Although it was in walking distance of a lot of shops. It has wifi and smart TV with Netflix ect. It does get hot during the night even with the heater off and windows open.nnIts not so bad but not the flashes if that's your kind of thing.
Room were older but very clean and comfortable how every when you get there no one told us you had to book the night before and even in the compendium it says you can book night before not you MUST so we where going on a full day tour on empty stomach with there company so not a great start good thing the tour made up for it
It's a lovely place the staff are very friendly and helpful the rooms are very basic but it all you need if you're passing through very clean and tidy kind of 70 style accomodation Nice
We booked 2 rooms as we were in Taumarunui for a 70th birthday. Stayed for a night. Staff were amazing. Bed was comfy, we had a great sleep. There was a heater available which was lucky as it was a cold night. The heater heated the room quite fast. Would definetly come back again.
We stayed here overnight to do a day trip combo of the railcart and jet boat forgotten world adventures. Given they leave from this motel it made sense and I have no reservations in recommending you do the same. These are basic accommodations to be sure but clean, tidy and comfortable. Dated, yes but well priced and I certainly would stay again when visiting the area. I would also recommend going for a wander through the town as it's oddly large and seems to almost have two main streets. I found the town quite surprising and lovely, and the area in general, beautiful.
