Turtle Beach Resort offers the ultimate Gold Coast family holiday with Splash Zone Water Park, Club Turtle Kids Club and lots more!

Story

Turtle Beach Resort provides premier family accommodation set in a sub-tropical oasis just 300 metres to the beach. Truly a relaxing holiday home, the resort offers spacious one, two and three bedroom fully self contained apartments in a 3 storey walk up complex (please note we do not have lifts on site).
Facilities include flat screen televisions and complimentary Foxtel channels.
All apartments have balconies and terraces that overlook tropical greenery and manicured gardens.

Take advantage of the extensive recreational facilities including a multitude of swimming areas with a mix of lagoon and lap swimming pools, waterslides, spa's, an adults only pool and spa, Putt'n Around* our 15 hole themed putt-putt course, children's playground, 2 saunas, floodlit tennis court*, fitness room, games room*, 8 BBQ areas and FREE WiFi access. For those who prefer a slower pace, soak up the relaxed poolside atmosphere or send the kids to the cinema theatrette. Enjoy a woodfired pizza at our onsite restaurant ‘The Deck’ or pick up supplies and a fresh coffee or smoothie at our onsite convenience store 'Fresh and Tasty' which also features a wide range of grocery items and souvenirs.

Turtle Beach Resort has designed a holiday program especially for the kids, packed with lots of fun activities to compliment our facilities. Club Turtle* is for kids aged four to twelve inclusive where they can choose to sit in and watch or join in the pre-arranged activities including creative art and craft sessions, big screen Wii interactive games, an Xbox only designated room for the game players, as well as party theme nights with Disco and Movies screenings.

Our Exciting water playground ‘Splash Zone” features 4 water slides, 2 toddler slides, dumping bucket, water cannons and lots more.

Booked a 2 night stay in 2 bd room.nRoom was great, full sized lounge, dining kitchen, fridge 2 bathrooms. King bed was very comfy and being on the top floor was very quiet. Nice looking out over the Adults only pool and spa.n**Downside was the washer dryer combo did not dry very well and even after 3 hours the clothes weren't dry.n**there were no spare blankets in the wardrobe which would have been nice as there was only air con in the lounge.nnLots of pool areas to choose from. On-site cafe had a good menu and reasonably priced.nnWe had a nice quiet, comfortable stay
To be honest the location is fantastic and our room was spacious but it was VERY dated. Toilet door wouldn't close, shower door wouldn't close, appliances were dated, toilets didn't flush properly and the beds were hard as rocks. Our room was serviced on day 3 and then not again for the rest of our stay 9 nights. The water park needs upgrading or at the very least, a lick of paint. The pools were lovely. Next time I'll probably look elsewhere as I'll get better for $2600 for 9 days.
Rooms and facilities seem tired. Showers have mould and grime in corners. They supply you with 2 days worth of dishwasher and washing machine powder and bin bags, then expect you to pay for additional ones if you are staying longer. Their meals and drinks at The Deck are average but quite expensive.nLocation is good and having on site car parking is good. Shame about the design of the buildings not allowing for lifts as its a haul to get all your bags upstairs.nThere is a strong sewage smell at the entrance to our stairwell and this smell creeps into the room later in the night. Very off putting.nEverything is extra cost. If you want a cot or room turnaround its extra. $70 to have your sheets replaced once and $145 to have soaps, liquids, bin bags and towels replaced.nnNot great won't be staying again
In the middle of our 3 week stay. Accommodating staff. Groceries provided on arrival and activity bags for the kids. Resolved an issue for a frypan and supplied a new one promptly. Great facilities, despite being worn down and requiring upgrades, and some deep cleaning! Beds have been fine for us, all sleeping well. Easy access parking. Lots of entertainment on site. More shallow/waist deep pools would have been helpful as they're either very shallow or very deep. The cafe for breakfast was lovely. Extensive road work construction does mean lots of detours. Appliances are old and noisy! Can hear quite a lot from neighbours through the walls. A very kid friendly convenient apartment style accommodation.
Hi,nIn response to your reply to our review and your statement “We did follow up the next day after reviewing the availability grid again and advised that we could move you to a room in your requested area in two days’ time once a unit became available.” This in no way occurred or offered as a solution to us. We were not contacted in anyway so I am not sure which one of your staff passed on this untruth to you. There is also obviously some training and work with your staff that needs to be done with regards your team in relation to communication and follow up. We are still here! It is disappointing that we could have moved rooms as our experience may have been better, rather than the least enjoyable we’ve had in our visits to Turtle Beach Resort. I hope IF we come back again that there are some improvements in customer relations and communication.
