I had gone with a friend and was expecting it to have a 'used car yard vibe'. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the friendliness and knowledge of the  staff. I even overheard a staff member giving two female customers what I felt was  very good and sensible advice on a car they wished to sell.  The whole office area was smart and modern and felt very professional.

I had a really disappointing experience at Turners Cars in Porirua. I took my car in for a valuation, and the offer they gave me was ridiculously low—far below what I knew the car was actually worth. It felt like a total waste of time. I ended up selling my car privately for twice the amount they were offering! I would strongly recommend avoiding Turners if you're looking to get a fair price for your vehicle. Save yourself the hassle and sell it privately, as you'll definitely get a much better deal elsewhere

Sold my car through Turners.nSo easy to deal with, hassle free, appraisal done in 20 minutes and they gave me a fair price. All staff were happy and helpful.

We had terrible experience of selling our car there. We sold our 2012 BMW 116i, and they firstly provided 2.5K offer which we accepted it although much lower than market price as will move to overseas shortly. Two days later after we accepted the offer and completed all of the paper works in turners, turners called me and told us there are code issues which I didn’t tell them during the drive-test. What?!! First, this car works well for our small family although it may with one or two issues given the age and mileage, second, no body ask me about the conditions of the car during the drive test, and also do you aim to buy a perfect car with 2.5K offer?! And should I list all of the possible issues for an 2.5 K offer car? Finally, they changed the offer to 2K as they know we were in rush to sell our car. Definitely would not recommend to sell your car there!! Terrible service and ridiculous offer they provide. They seem like wanna to buy your car with an almost free price and then sell it with a high price!!

I wouldn't recommend going here if you are a younger person. I was left waiting for three hours for the business manager, who kept seeing newer customers who had just arrived.nnThe staff in the yard were very helpful and the test drive was easy. I was unable to complete my purchase due to time constraints caused by the wait.
