Extremely poor. They pay out 4c less than the official exchange rate and hit you with a 2.5% exchange fee as well. If that's not enough, the minimum exchange fee is $10.

 To demonstrate how punitive this actually is, I changed NZD$100 and got back AUD$80. Considering the official exchange rate is actually NZD$1 = AUD95c , THAT'S A $15 COST. 

They also heavily pushed their Travelcard product, which checking a few online reviews revealed to be an extremely poor product (I'm glad I did). That's why I'm posting this review - I hope it helps someone else. Don't make the same mistake I did. Change your money at the bank prior to getting to the airport.

Went to exchange a $50AUD note yesterday and was told at the counter that I would only get $41NZD for it. Lady at the counter said "NZD has been stronger than AUD for the past year which is good if you take money from New Zealand to Australia". This is not at all true and have checked it online. They charge an exchange fee that makes it not worth it but bad exchange rate is not due to NZD strength over AUD. would be fine if she hadn't lied about it and just said that there's a fee from Travelex.
