Traralgon Vineyard (formerly Zanella Winery) grapes were planted in 1988/1990 and in 2008 Leon and Marg Hammond constructed a Chapel, Lake and Restaurant/Function center, here you can enjoy views from Mt Baw Baw in the west to Mt Hotham in east across the Latrobe River Flats

Rolled up the vineyard at 15:30, a bit late, but Leon(the owner) let us have a wine tasting even though he had a private event coming up that evening. He also gave us a grand tour of the vineyard and winemaking process. Such a passionate winemaker and friendly host. We only stayed for a bit over an hour, but we enjoyed their best wines and left with a dozen. Great wines for an even better price($15 each)! Great view from the deck and a wonderful interior restaurant. Definitely visit this place if you're in the neighborhood.

Bland, tepid non tasty food. Vineyard Pie that had the appearance and taste of a Herbert Adams product with lumpy mashed potato. Tapas pastry just warm with icy fetta cheese and pumpkin.
