Traralgon Holden

Was having issues with my transmission going in to top gear after having a fair bit of work done at another mechanic he advised me there was no gearbox issue to take it to Holden as it had to be an electrical fault. Took it to these told them everything that had been done and the prior mechanic said it was electrical. They had it the day said no issues at all with my car. Took it and less than 3ks noticed the same problem so the rebooked it and I had to take there mechanic for a drive and show him! After that left the car with them and when I got a call Damian told me it was an internal problem with the gearbox even when I said it couldn't be and i was told it was the tcm. He still assured me it would be a problem with the gearbox, so I went and had it replaced and still the same issue! Turned out it was the time and in the process holden cost me near 1500$ to replace my gearbox when it didn't need to be done. When Warragal wreckers knows more about ya car that a ment to be specialised mechanic thats bad! I called Holden and told them that the problem was not the gearbox and they cost me a lot of money for guessing he responded we go by a workshop book! What sort of specialised mechanics do that! Was by Damian he would speak to his higher up person and he would ring back! 2 days latter after the car has been fixed and still no call! NEVER TAKE YA CAR TO THESE THEY ARE USELESS AND WILL COST YOU A FORTUNE!

Had a standard service yesterday fluids, filters costing $350. On the way home I received an oil low warning. Again on the way to work today, same warning. Called and they came out to check the car, confirmed no oil had been put in during the service. Was promised a call from the service manager, however this has not happened. As my car is now out of warranty, I will be going elsewhere.

Much to my discuss of a whopping $580 for 1 2013 VF Commodore Wagon Evoke Key Just be aware that Holden Spare Parts Traralgon most definitely know how to charge an completely rip you off. I went to a locksmith got the exactly same Key & Remote also programed Cut New Key for $70 REALLY HOLDEN the price you charge that is 6 Keys at a Locksmith with out a Holden Logo on remote which has no affect operation or use of the key. I most certainly will never ring or have anything to do with them again.

Staff were friendly however their pricing is excessively over the top and they have a lot to learn in terms of customer service. Took my car in as the horn had stopped working after having the airbag replaced as part of a recall. Was advised it was unlikely it was the fault of the airbag being installed. Was charged approximately $150 for them to look at it, then after finding the horn itself had failed I was quoted nearly $200 extra to supply and fit a new horn. Went to Repco and ended up costing me $30 and 15 minutes of my time to replace. When I booked the car in I was offered to wait in the customer lounge while the car was being looked at however upon arriving was told it would take several hours and convinced to not wait around. Requested the shuttle bus however the driver was hesitant to take me back home in Morwell as he had another passenger to take to Traralgon, so had to be taken to Traralgon then catch the bus home. Lesson learned, not taking my car back there.

I absolutely can't speak highly enough of Bethany, Brad and crew at Holden Service Department in Traralgon! They're really really nice people and genuinely care that I'm happy with my Astra RSV, which I adore! Great communication, excellent loan cars and great service - well done guys!

After checking out other car yards and no one bothering to see if I needed help, it was refreshing to be approached within minutes of arriving. Vas was extremely helpful, walked away with a few car options. Now just to decide which one
