Well run and managed. Just wished for a better fire pit on the cooler nights.
This is a lovely spot, Erol takes a lot of pride in keeping the grounds well maintained. Beautiful trees and grass and he keeps the number of vans to a minimum to ensure space. The area is secure you’ll get a key so it’s no problem leaving the van for the day. $45 for three night minimum, we stayed two nights which still worked out cheaper the most other places around. You do need to be self contained though, he provides dump points for water and sewage waste.
Just enquired for overnight stay, Errol sounds lovely. But the park only does minimum 3 night stay charge of $45 irrespective of overnight stay, maybe nice for 4 days however too pricey for fully- self contained vehicles for overnight stop over.
Nice and quiet place with trees around you, everyone park on the grass, Errol is a nice guy . Very handy to shops and beaches. But self container van only. Enjoy your stay.
Mixed feelings, Errol is a nice bloke but the operation is disorganised and tedious, from checking in to getting a key to topping up with water which is monitored like its liquid gold incase you try to steal some. The cost is high compared go other similar operations and more so compared to show grounds and scout grounds which also have showers and toilets. Good strawberry jam though.
Brilliant place quite tidy well maintain Errol is a very Interesting person
