Torquay Bowls Club

We stopped here for lunch. This place is pricy for what you get. The food looks very nice, but it's missing flavour. I ordered a medium steak, and got medium rare. The staff was overall quick and polite. However, there was one guy at a bar who definitely needs to improve his attitude.

First time here for a show and dinner. Firstly our water and glasses were delivered to the table, good start, until a very grubby glass with a dead baby cockroach on the rim of the glass was was discovered. Gross. Staff were told and their response was less than satisfactory. Meals are just OK, all mains are $32.00 which is overpriced for what you get. Nice place for a drink and the view. Eat elsewhere before you come.

Great food (perhaps a little slow to arrive, though). Brilliant view, right on the ocean with bowls, too if that's your thing. Perhaps the best thing...NO POKIES!!!

Went here on Sunday... Ordered a southern chicken burger. Reasonably priced but the chicken wasn’t cooked very well... it looked delicious but my chicken was practically raw. Really disappointed as I came here last year and was amazed...
