Staff is friendly and the pies are solid, but nothing extraordinary. If you are hungry for a pie this place will do the trick. I did have a nice morning enjoying a beautiful day on their porch with a decent flat white that came with an excellent peppermint creme on the side. The Tim tam truffle was pretty tasty too!
Just want to say a big thank you to Top Pies! We ordered catering for 130 people and it was a huge success. The food was hot and ready on time for when we ordered it, and it was a very easy to organize. Love the big strong boxes our food came in that made it easier to carry back to the car. Friendly staff and delicious food that was gone in no time. Will definitely return in the future!
Quality, genuine, family business. Top pies is my number one go to shop for any kind of baked goods in the South Melbourne area. With a lovely smile and excellent service from Sophie and the girls at the front and neverfail quality from Con and the bakers out back you can not go wrong with a stop at Top Pies
These guys are renowned for their pies in the area. But I just wasn't blown away by the pies. Don't get me wrong, the staff are super friendly, and they have a good variety to choose from. Just from my 2 experiences, the pies were a bit ho-hum.
Friendly staff. Amazing pies. And real bang for your buck. Your only issue will be choosing which pie to have . Well worth a visit , you won't be sorry you went.
